Set alight with music composed by Manabu Iwamura, Anteprima presented the Spring Summer 2008 Milano collection on 25th of September 2007 in the Museo della Permanente. For its 15th anniversary year, Creative Director Izumi Ogino projects a fresh and sophisticated, yet wearable collection based on a theme of “Summer Carnival.” Inspired by colours and shapes of a kaleidoscope, the innovative silhouettes shine out a subtle and casual elegance.
The playfulness of a fun summer night has been emphasized by the usage of PVC material and nylon, standing out in contrast to the softness of silk, linen and cotton fabrics. The collection features soft tunics and intricate tucking details, bows or sequins-brightly coloured creating an uptown spin.
Easy day dresses and sensual evening numbers are well balanced on a vivid colour palette, blending blushes of green, fuchsia, silver and champagne gold. The collection will be enjoyed by the fashion conscious, urban women upon its arrival in February 2008.
Anteprima's characteristic hairstyle for this season reaches very close to the face and extends natural softness, creating a magical and mysterious look.
The make up compliments the collections' summer carnival theme with clean and fresh transparency and a slight shine to the skin. A unique and cool impression is made to the eyes by a touch of black, and the cheeks flushed by a peachy blush to create a light and lively expression.
